UJC Chanukah Community Celebration 2004

The 2004 community Chanukah celebration happened this year on a rainy third night down at the City Dock on December 9th in the historic area in downtown Annapolis.  Yes it was wet, but fun for the 30-40 folks who came out to celebrate.  Annapolis Alderman Josh Cohen (Ward 8) was there to help light one of the candles and other community leaders lent a hand so the children could enjoy the holiday.  Rabbi Stephen Weisman of Temple Solel led with songs and blessings.  He was joined by Hallie Feldman and Nan Jarashow of Aleph Bet Jewish Day School and Ellyn Becker, the Temple Beth Shalom Educational Director.  Here is hoping that next year's celebration will be equally bright and fun -- but drier!
